Material Care Guide
Materials change naturally with time and use. Proper care can help preserve their condition, while signs of aging remain part of what makes each object unique.
METAL
Metal is a durable material that changes naturally over time. Depending on its composition and environment, the surface may gradually develop oxidation, patina, and subtle variations in colour. These changes are part of the material's natural ageing process and contribute to the character of each piece.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
For regular care, wipe the surface with a soft dry cloth. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, perfume, and chemical cleaning products. If necessary, a metal polishing cloth may be used to remove light tarnishing. After cleaning, ensure the surface is thoroughly dry.
PLEASE NOTE: Oxidation, changes in tone, and signs of use are natural characteristics of metal.
WOOD
Wood is a natural material valued for its warmth, texture, and distinctive grain. Exposure to light, humidity, and everyday use may gradually alter its colour and surface, allowing the material to age naturally over time.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
For regular care, dust with a soft dry cloth. Avoid excessive moisture, prolonged direct sunlight, and sudden changes in temperature or humidity. If needed, wipe with a lightly damp cloth and dry immediately afterward.
PLEASE NOTE: Variations in grain, colour, and texture are natural characteristics of wood.
GLASS & CERAMIC
Glass and ceramic are durable materials appreciated for their versatility and ability to capture light, colour, and form. Minor variations, bubbles, tool marks, or irregularities may be present, particularly in handmade pieces, reflecting the nature of the production process.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
Clean with mild soap and water using a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaning products and protect objects from sharp impacts or sudden temperature changes. Extra care should be taken when handling delicate edges and thinner sections.
PLEASE NOTE: Bubbles, glaze variations, and production marks may be present in handmade pieces.
OTHER MATERIALS
Vintage objects are often made from a variety of materials, each carrying its own characteristics and ageing process. Over time, changes in colour, texture, and surface condition may occur naturally through use and environmental exposure.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
Keep objects away from excessive moisture, direct sunlight, and extreme temperature changes. Clean gently using a soft cloth or brush suitable for the material, and avoid unnecessary treatments or harsh cleaning products.

保養與清潔
建議避免長時間曝曬於陽光下，並遠離潮濕環境與劇烈溫差。日常清潔可使用柔軟乾布擦拭，如需清潔污漬，可使用微濕軟布輕輕擦拭後立即擦乾，避免水分長時間停留於表面。
請注意：木材的紋理、色澤與節點皆為天然特徵。隨著環境與光線變化，表面可能逐漸產生色差或細微變化。

請存放於乾燥且通風良好的環境，避免長時間日曬、潮濕與劇烈溫差。清潔時依材質特性使用柔軟乾布或軟毛刷輕輕擦拭，並避免使用刺激性化學清潔產品。
請注意：不同材質會因其特性而產生不同程度的老化與使用痕跡。請依物件材質與狀況妥善保存及使用。
